Flug Amsterdam

Car
Specially in the east of the country, there is an important net of highways which connect with Amsterdam: A1 and A12 from Germany and A2 and A27 from Belgium. The Schiphol airport is close to the A4 highway, which connects Amsterdam with Den Haag and Rotterdam.

Bus
El Interliner is the only bus service from the airport to the center.

What to visit
In Amsterdam, the main square is the Leidseplein, where the shopping street Leidsestraat starts. You can walk down too the flower market and get to another shopping street, Kalverstraat, which ends in the Dam Square, where you can find the royal palace and the wax museum Madame Tussaud. You can visit other museums, such as the Rijksmuseum, the Anne Frank and the Van Gogh museum. Many trams connect the city, so you don't need to walk to visit all these places.

Restaurants
Around the Leidseplein you can find many restaurants, from Argentininan to Italian restaurants, or snack-bars where you can buy pizza or Döner kebab.
