Flug Santiago

Road
Access to the airport is via the N-547 national main road, which links Santiago de Compostela with Lugo. The turning is thirteen kilometres east of the city. It is also possible to go via the motorway which joins the Santiago ring road with the national N-547.

Bus
Many bus companies connect the airport and Santiago (Dr. Texeiro, Avenida de Lugo, the bus station and San Lázaro).

What to see:
Santiago de Compostela is considered a holy place, such as Jerusalem and Rome, as many people all over the world walk to the Catedral of Santiago, one of the most famous buildings of Galicia.

At the restaurants of A Coruña you can eat the best shellfish to the best prices and drink the wine of the region, Albariño.

Bars:
You can enjoy tapas and other dishes at the bars of the old town.

Every year many pilgrims visit the catedral of Santiago, after walking the whole route of the "camino de santiago".
The second week of July, the festivities of the apostle Santiago take place in the city: concerts, parties, pyrotechnical spectacles and many other activities.
