Malta flights

Road
On leaving the airport, take the main road to Marsa, which leads to Valletta. The city centre and airport are both clearly signposted.

Bus
Bus no.8 departs regularly to/from Valletta and leaves from a bus stop outside the check-in hall.

Taxi
There is a fixed-fare taxi service to all areas of Malta. A taxi booth is located in the Welcomers' Hall, where pre-paid tickets can be purchased

What to visit 
Malta is an island of white sandy beaches, clear blue waters and isolated bays.
Mdina, the old capital of Malta, known as the "Silent City", is a medieval city of narrow streets, separated by walls from its nearest town, Rabat.
Punic remains were discovered in this city, where we can also visit its Megalithic temples, the Cathedral and the Palazzo Falzon or Norman House, a medieval building that dates to 1495.
Valetta, the current capital of Malta, is a beautiful baroque city, of beautiful churches and palaces, among which the Cathedral of St. John stands out.
You can also visit the islands Comino and Gozo, the second biggest islands of the archipelago.

Restaurants
Lampuki Pie (fish pie), rabbit stew, zucchinni soup (quarabaghli) and fish soup, Aljotta, are some of the dishes you should try at Maltese restaurants.
