Road
You can arrive to the airport in about 20 minutes from the City by the "Ferihegy High-Speed Road" and the main road 4.
 
Metro and Bus
You can arrive to Köbánya-Kispest metro station by bus (200 and 93). From Köbánya-Kispest metro station, by the 'blue' (3) Metro you can reach Deák Ferenc Square in the City in 20 minutes. The cost is about 0.91€.

Taxi
A taxi from the airport to the center can cost 17€ approximately.

What to see
Budapest is not only famous for its thermal baths, but also for its remarkable caves, some of which is open to the public. The two are linked, of course: the caves were formed by thermal waters in the first place.
In Budapest you can visit several museums: the Aquincum Museum and the Roman ruins, the Budapest History Museum, The Contemporary Art Ludwig Museum, the National Museum and the History Museum.
You can also visit serveral churches, such as the Franciscan or the Calvinist church.
The Castle District, the River Danube embankments and the whole of Andrássy út have been recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Restaurants
Try at the restaurants of Budapest the traditional Hungarian dish, goulash,  made of beef, onion, pepper and paprika.

Budapest's famous Chain Bridge (Lánchíd) is an event which takes place in the summer: while strolling across the closed-off bridge, spanning the Danube between the promenade and foot of Castle Hill, tourists can enjoy shows, handicrafts displays and cultural programmes.
